Our story
The story of Secrets d'Alsace began in 1995, with the birth of a passion and the creation of a first recipe, designed with respect for Alsatian culinary traditions. At that time, a taste for homemade food, manual labour and a love of good things were already at the heart of every preparation.
Since its inception, the brand has relied on artisanal expertise that has remained faithful to the methods of yesteryear. The recipes are prepared by hand, taking the time necessary to reveal the full richness of the flavours. The first creations, gingerbread and bredele, quickly found their place during family gatherings, becoming staples of Alsatian celebrations.
Very early on, the desire arose to share these specialities beyond the family circle, in order to share these authentic flavours with as many people as possible. Christmas markets, true symbols of Alsatian tradition, played an essential role in this adventure, providing a place for people to meet, exchange ideas and pass on iconic recipes such as gingerbread and bredeles.
Today, these recipes are still passed down from generation to generation, perpetuating a gourmet heritage where tradition, passion and authenticity continue to guide each creation.
